Step-by-Step Application Guide
 
To achieve optimal performance and durability, follow these detailed steps for application:
Surface Preparation: Begin by ensuring the surface is clean, dry, and free of all dust, debris, rust, or existing peeling paint. This critical first step ensures proper adhesion and a flawless finish.
Mixing: The SHARK-TOP paint comes in two parts: the main material and a hardener. Combine these components at a 5:1 ratio. Using an electric mixer for at least three minutes is highly recommended to ensure the hardener is completely and evenly blended throughout the paint.
Application: Apply the mixed product to the prepared surface using your preferred method, such as a brush, roller, or sprayer. Be sure to apply a uniform and even coat.
Curing: After application, the coating needs time to cure. The surface will be dry to the touch within 24 hours, which is the recommended time to wait before applying a second coat or putting the surface into light use. For maximum performance, durability, and chemical resistance, allow the coating to fully cure for seven days.
